Question by Abby: How to personalize a necklace without engraving it?
im going to get a necklace for all of my friends and want to personalize it for each but how can i without engraving it?? any ideas?

You can paint on it with acrylic paint and then use a sealer on it so it wont wear off.

Use charms for your friends’ individual tastes/interests. Depending on the necklace, you could also give each of them in their favorite color.
At stores, they usually have things that you can put on necklaces
Get things that a specific friend likes or could symbolize them, and there you go.
