Question by : What is the best way to remove hair from necklaces?
I have long hair and my necklaces are ending up with clumps of hair at and around the clasp. I have no time or patience to pick it off, any suggestions?I have heard Nair works, but is it safe?

I have heard dipping jewelry in Diet Cola will clean them for about 24 hours will weaken the material but then you have to clean the jewelry of the Cola. This is for real bad situation

Another probably better solution would be to use white vinegar and warm soapy water to wash.

Cleaning your jewelry with warm soapy water dish washing liquid is great for returning the sparkle

However i would ensure your jewelry is real gold / silver etc as plated items may lose the quality they once had.

Also any organic materials like corral or pearls would disolve in vinegar or cola.

So be careful
