We’re going on a cruise in two days, how would my mom and I pack our necklaces without them all getting tangled together?

You can get a weekly pill type box and put one necklace in each little box so that they don’t get tangled together.

Try separating them into individual jewellery boxes. You could even get one of those travel jewellery boxes that have all the different sections and clips to hold down the necklaces – I found this works for me and is cheap too! Argos catalogue! :P

However, necklaces seem to tangle themselves anyway dont they – so good luck!
Have a great trip! :)

The first answer would work great for delicate necklaces, but not for big ones. I don’t know what kind of necklaces you’re bringing, so I’ll suggest a method of storage that will work great for both the big necklaces and delicate necklaces.
Get the cheapest zipper-seal sandwich bags you can find, like the generic store brand that’s similar to Ziploc. Put each necklace (and matching earrings, if you have your ears pierced) in an individual bag and then put all the little bags in a gallon freezer bag. Make sure you get all the air out so it doesn’t take up too much space in your suitcase. That’s what I usually do when I want to keep my jewelry pieces from tangling with each other while I’m on vacation. I usually have a mix of bold beaded designs and delicate pendants, so this is the only method that works for me.
Hope this helps, and have fun on your cruise!

I buy those little zipper bags that are sold at hobby stores, they have different sizes. The smallest ones are big enough for most chain necklaces, the larger ones are good for the chunky necklaces. Put each necklace in a little baggie and put them together in a larger bag or box. I buy my baggies at Hobby Lobby.
