by admin on August 26, 2010

This week, the Thread Heads take a trip to the Green Festival in Chicago and check out all the eco vendors. Then we head over to our forum member MamaSasss’s house and get and awesome lesson on how-to make a pin necklace. Plus, the moment you all have been waiting for…we’re announcing the Janome Sewing Machine Contest winner!

@idhateme3 i think you could use a neclace chain extender for the chain, unless you want the necklace to hang really low. and you can get those at craft stores like hobby lobby.

Hmm, anyway I could make the necklace into a button bracelet? I mean cause my bf would love something like that just…not a necklace, lol. Also where can I buy a chain for it?

i think i’m going to use her ‘technique’ to replicate the necklace in ‘confessions of a teenage drama queen’. :p

you can reuse a necklace you already own. ex: any chain with an ugly pendant. :p

it all depends on where you’re from. up here they are usually called pins. sometimes buttons. very rarely badges. i don’t think i’ve heard anyone up this way call them badges.
